Local(ish) to the Downingtown, PA area and want to make a difference, meet new people, and build your skills? These opportunities are for you!

• Events Volunteer Rhy’s Above participates in and hosts a number of events throughout the year. If you’d like to volunteer at a future event to make/hold motivational signs, run a table, help out with our therapy dog, and more, this role is for you.

• Fundraising Volunteer Nonprofits rely on the donations of individuals and businesses to research and develop new programs, provide support, education, and more. We’re so grateful and thankful for every dollar donated and are so excited to hear about your idea for fundraising or to include you in existing fundraising campaigns. From Donating Birthdays to walking dogs for sponsorships or organizing a team to run/walk one of our races, there are multitudes of ways to volunteer in fundraising.

• Youth Ambassadors Youth Ambassadors are passionate about wheeled sports like skateboarding, biking, roller blades, etc. AND mental health. YA’s have a deep desire to provide positive impact and exemplary leadership in the community. Youth Ambassadors work together with Young Adult Ambassadors and Skatepark Committee leaders in working together toward common, community driven goals to create safe, connected spaces for wheeled enthusiasts of all ages.

• Senior Project Have an idea for your Senior Project around Building Community, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, or associated topics and Rhy’s Above can help? Email Jennifer directly at jennifermo@rhysabove.org and suggest a time to discuss requirements for a successful project.

• Rhy’s & Vibe volunteers create content for social media and the website including blogs, social posts, and more. Currently we’re seeking volunteers with creative, journalistic, or video/audio editing skills - need not have all. Let us know what your preferred format of contribution is - art, writing, whatever you bring to the table makes a difference.
